Not exactly the Sunday evening we had planned for. Ended up in the ER with 8% 2nd degree burns on my leg from a boiling pot of water slipping out of my hands while making dinner. Thankfully I had loose pants on and I immediately slipped them off. Waiting at ER north for 1hr and 45 mins before getting any doctor visit or pain relief was tough but finally headed home. Next up a follow up with UNC Burn center.If anyone as recommendations on healing please send them my way.

As a mother I worry of the years ahead. If you have children I recommend you follow Paul Raffile and his work. Absolutely eye opening.
