#ALDIpower | The #ALDIcrew collectively completes 2000 kilometers at the 14th Essen company run 👟 Last week, around 400 ALDI colleagues challenged themselves with a 5-kilometer run through downtown Essen and a grand finale in the Gruga Park. As the event traditionally has huge popularity within ALDI, the sought-after spots were fully taken after just a few days. 🎽 Armed with our iconic running shirts and a whole lot of #ALDIspirit our runners proved their #ALDIpower on the track, with hundreds of fans at the sidelines cheering them on. At the finish line they were rewarded with snacks and cold drinks and an after-run get together at the ALDI tent. #ALDIpower | This was our Campus summer festival 2024 🌴 A great party spirit, lots of sportsmanship, exciting prices at our raffle and, above all, a wonderful atmosphere: This sumps up the success of this year’s summer festival at our Campus in Essen. 🍦 Besides sportive activities in a free throw area, in the rodeo arena or on the dance floor - more than 2,800 sausages, 2,100 waffles and 750 liters of freshly tapped beverages were handed out at our booths. In addition, we served more than 800 portions of mac & cheese and 1,500 ice creams – everything made from our ALDI products. 🙌 A special thanks to the generosity of all members from the #ALDIcrew, who participated in our give away and bought raffle tickets! With your engagement we were able to raise around 6,000 euros for charity this year. And, of course, a shout out goes to the team that once again organised the summer festival as well asthe many volunteers who sold raffle tickets, handed out prices and served at the drink booths. #ALDIpower | Our crew has got football fever ⚽️ Usually, all our ALDI countries pull together in the same direction. But for one month – starting today - competition starts brewing between the ALDI Nord nations. Since almost all countries are part of this year's UEFA Europe Championship, which is hosted by Germany, they will compete against each other in sporting matters. 💪 This evening, the soccer tournament finds its Kickoff game in Munich. But also, long before the start, the #ALDIcrew prepared themself to cheer on for their home team. Whether coming with a tricot in the office, hanging the national flag in the lunchroom, attending after-work public viewing events or wearing the national colours on the way to work - all employees got ready for the championship. #ALDIpower | Saving time with our One-Stop-Office - “A life with ALDI” 🙇 Being in the primetime of your life can be challenging – juggling a job with a family, remaining friendships and hobbies, all while trying to eat healthy and taking care of yourself. Fortunately, the ALDI Nord Group is an employer, where it is possible, to keep it all at balance. That’s what todays episode of “A life with ALDI” is all about. 💻 Daniel Laag, Business Projects Lead, knows this challenge of keeping it all aligned. In the past few weeks, we spent some time celebratingour private label´s birthday at our ALDI Nord Campus in Essen. The whole bean coffee will be available in three different varieties from the origin countries HONDURAS, PERU and TANZANIA – with a colourful and modern design that emphasises the high quality and taste of each product and shows all important information at a glance: it is not only labelled with the EU organic logo but is also certified by Fairtrade International.🙌 The long-term drum roasted coffees will be on sale in German ALDI Nord stores from Monday, 27 May 2024, and also in ALDI France from mid-June – as long as stocks last.
